We are Hayden and Anna Lyon, and we own and operate Cowtown Home Buyers in Fort Worth, Texas. We live in Benbrook, Texas with our beautiful daughter, Audrey.
Hayden is a graduate of TCU and has called Fort Worth home ever since. Anna is a graduate of Baylor University, where she was an All-American volleyball player and, most recently, inducted into the 2020 Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame. Anna also attended TCU for post-graduate studies where the two of us met, and we are now happily married and growing our family.
Hayden originally began his career in real estate as licensed real estate agent, helping buyers and sellers find their dream homes. Like many other real estate investors though, our investing careers started small, picking up properties here and there as a part-time hobby. Fast forward to today, and we are on the hunt for properties every minute of the day. Check out our 5-star reviews!

You’ll see a lot of references to Fort Worth throughout our site, and it’s for good reason. Fort Worth is our home. It’s where we met, it’s where we bought our first home together, it’s where our daughter was born, and it’s where we want to raise our family. We say all this because the city of Fort Worth is unlike any other city in Texas AND the United States. Anyone that has lived here or visited will know what I mean when I say the sense of community in this great town is better than any place on earth.
We started Cowtown Home Buyers because we want to maintain that great sense of community. We are and always will be the local family owned company who follow family values. Ultimately, we have one goal: support and enhance Fort Worth community development while also maintaining its wonderful historic charm. Yes, we are a business and need to be profitable to keep doing what we love, but all that will come if we continue to aim for that ultimate goal.
As part of that commitment, we support and donate a portion of our proceeds to Safe Haven of Tarrant County, a community organization supporting the relocation of victims of domestic violence.

Hayden Lyon | Founder & Chief Operator
Hayden is the co-founder of Cowtown Home Buyers and oversees the day to day operations and is in charge of all the houses we buy. He is likely the person you will talk to when you call in and explain all of your options and what we can offer you. He’s also the numbers guy which means he assesses all of the houses we buy to make sure everyone gets the best deal and all the numbers work out.
Anna Lyon | Founder & Chief Designer
Anna is the co-founder of Cowtown Home Buyers and oversees all design elements of the houses we purchase and renovate. Anna has a knack for staying up to date on all the design trends, but also knows when to retain that special character every house offers. She brings that special eye for design so our future tenant or buyer can have a home they are proud to call their own. Check out some of the work we’ve done in our previous projects!
David McDonald | Head of Construction
David oversees all aspects of renovation and construction. He is the project manager for all of our projects. He’s the one that goes to the work sites of the houses we buy to make sure the work is being done on time and managing the contractors we work with. David will more often than not do the work himself, making sure everything is done correctly and in perfect condition for our end tenant or buyer.
